Leadership Management Team
Alwyn Lewis, CEO
Alwyn is Chief Executive of Hornsey Housing Trust and joined the organisation in 2014. He is responsible to the Board for the leadership and strategic direction of the Trust. With a career spanning over 40 years in social housing, starting with the Greater London Council. Alwyn has worked for a number of registered providers and local authorities.
He has held several non-executive director and committee member positions. These leadership roles have given him a good grasp of social housing, public service, regulation, corporate strategy, business planning, and strategic partnerships.
Christopher Adegoroye , Asset Manager
Chris joined Hornsey Housing Trust in 2022 as Asset Manager. He has a background of 15+ years in leading on the delivery of housing services and coordinating teams to deliver a best-in-class service in line with tenants’ expectations. Well-versed in devising and implementing strategic and operational plans to achieve all targets/KPIs successfully. First-rate knowledge of social housing issues and housing association processes, with the capability to deliver major projects / initiatives to meet core objectives.
Phil Johnson, Head of Housing
Phil is Head of Housing at Hornsey and has a wealth of experience in social housing and joined the Trust in 2013. Phil began his career in the private sector working with the Pinnacle Group to provide housing management services to Hornsey Housing Trust.
He is a knowledgeable and experienced housing professional who has successfully developed and managed staff to enable support of resident groups and led on dementia services and welfare reform. He qualified with the Chartered Institute of Housing and is passionate about delivering excellent services to residents, supporting people to achieve their potential and making a positive difference to local communities.
Veronica Lindsay, Head of Finance and IT
Veronica joined Hornsey Housing Trust in February 2019 as Head of Finance & IT. She has over 30 years’ experience in accounting, finance, business planning, treasury, audit and risk. She commenced her career in the private sector before moving to the housing sector 20 years ago. Veronica has worked for both large and small housing providers supporting them in raising more than £500m for development programmes and restructuring finances in the sector.

Housing Support Service and Support Service Officers
There are three Support Services Officers who look after the sheltered blocks, led by the Housing Support Co-ordinator. The Support Services Officers act as the first port of call for their tenants for all tenancy management and housing support issues.
