We are a small but ambitious housing association, set up in 1933 by Margaret Hill to house older people in Hornsey. We are proud of our legacy, and keen to find new ways to fulfil it in the 21st century. To this end we are seeking new members to join our Board.
We are particularly interested in applicants with skills in:
• Finance, particularly in a housing association context
• Social care, and the support needed by older tenants living independently
• Resident engagement
• Legal aspects of our work
You may have developed these skills in employment, or as a volunteer; and you may be working or recently retired. Haringey is a very diverse borough, and our tenants equally diverse, and we particularly encourage applications from women and members of different ethnic and cultural groups.
